Benefit Party - “Zambujeira Bodyboard Festival 2026”
On Friday, August 14, there will be a party at the nbzm headquarters! This party is also meant to help us raise some extra money to cover the expenses we’ll have for the “Zambujeira Bodyboard Festival 2026”! Everyone is invited to come, and bring your friends! The lineup will be well worth it... We’ll have live music featuring Zairo (hip-hop) and California Reggae Movement (acoustic covers: Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Bob Marley, etc.)... Then the music continues with DJs...! Starting with an “Open Deck” set with a reggae/hip-hop vibe... And then moving on to electronic music, featuring Xitãozinho and Natal Carnaval. Admission is free, but you can support the club by buying from our bar, where we’ll have drinks and snacks available for everyone, as well as club merchandise! Spread the word and come on by!

FESTA DOS MORTOS, DJ with Fusão
Friend João comes south !!!!! Don't know who João is? Well, we've prepared a whole event for you to get to know two of his facets. At 6:30 p.m., João will introduce us to the work he does at Microvida, in a talk on "Bokashi and the potential of Effective Microorganisms" for: - Revitalizing trees and plants - Soil and water regeneration and bioremediation - Ecological sanitation and composting - Biological treatment of cesspits, nitrates and effluents There will be a sharing of experiences of ecological sanitation in cowsheds in the Azores and summer festivals - with a vegetable garden using compost from dry toilets. Once the talk is over, João's transmutation process takes place. He reappears as a DJ with Fusion and takes us on a Tour of the World in 80 Rhythms, with a fusion of electro folk grooves. This is what we call the Feast of the Dead! Honoring traditions from here and there, we invite everyone to celebrate death and everything that comes from it! Doors open at 17:30. Dinner from 7.30pm with vegetarian or animal protein options. (YES, it's an after-halloween! And you don't even have to change out of your Friday party outfit, it looks even prettier when disheveled)

Wear something easy to change in and out of. • No limit on how much you can take—but please choose only what fits you and truly sparks joy. • Don’t worry if you don’t have much to bring—there’s always plenty to go around (except men’s clothes… we can always use more of those!).
