The CreACTivity bus

Full Moon Stone Circle Ceremony
On Monday June 29, we gather close to where the Mira River and the Atlantic Ocean meet for a guided Stone Circle Ceremony under the full moon. At the centre of our gathering lies a Crystal Stone Circle: a contemporary ceremonial field inspired by the ancient wisdom of stone circles: sacred patterns that connect earth, sky, direction, rhythm and human awareness. As we attune to this field through stillness, sound, breath and attention, space opens for reflection, inner listening and intuitive guidance. The evening includes a brief introduction to the wisdom of stone circles, an AUM meditation, a card reflection and a personal consultation with the Crystal Stone Circle. This ceremony is not about prediction or performance. HELD - Part I
A few months ago I noticed something in my body I couldn't ignore - tension I'd been carrying so long I'd stopped registering it as tension at all. When I sat with it, I realized it wasn't really about the body. I was gripping - onto money, onto people, onto anything precious - bracing like it would disappear the moment I relaxed. This is the first of three sessions in HELD, a workshop trilogy for women exploring where the body holds, and why. Session One builds the ground the rest of the series stands on: a calmer nervous system, and a working relationship of trust with yourself, before we ever touch the jaw or pelvic floor directly. This year, (In)disciplina is based on the premise “from place to community,” creating a space for listening and dialogue about creative practices in public spaces. A two-day program in Vila Nova de Milfontes, featuring two discussion sessions at the Foz do Mira Association and a series of performances in public spaces at the Canal Fishing Harbor and near Farol Beach. Through (In)disciplina, we aim to help make public space a stage for cultural action and collective expression, envisioning it as a place for the common good. _ _ _ _ We are supported by the Odemira City Council, the Directorate-General for the Arts, the Vila Nova de Milfontes Parish Council, the Foz do Mira Association, and Ainda Não Tem Nome - Cultural Association.
