The festival begins on October 3 with an environmental awareness activity aimed at children and teenagers, organized by the Co-Management Commission of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park (PNSACV). The initiative aims to bring young people closer to their natural heritage by promoting knowledge of and appreciation for coastal ecosystems and raising awareness of the importance of preserving the land and the sea.
On October 4, the program continues into the evening with a musical event by the sea. Freddy Locks, Gringos Paradise, No Time To Waste, Terrakota, and Nubai Soundsystem are on the lineup for a night that brings the 3rd edition of the Zambujeira Bodyboard Festival to a close.
The Zambujeira Bodyboard Festival is organized by the Zambujeira do Mar Bodyboard Club, in partnership with the Municipality of Odemira and with the support of the São Teotónio Parish Council. The initiative aims to strengthen the connection between the community, bodyboarding, culture, and the natural heritage of Zambujeira do Mar, bringing together different generations around a program that combines sports, the environment, and music.
