A few months ago I noticed something in my body I couldn't ignore - tension I'd been carrying so long I'd stopped registering it as tension at all. When I sat with it, I realized it wasn't really about the body. I was gripping - onto money, onto people, onto anything precious - bracing like it would disappear the moment I relaxed.

This is the first of three sessions in HELD, a workshop trilogy for women exploring where the body holds, and why.

Session One builds the ground the rest of the series stands on: a calmer nervous system, and a working relationship of trust with yourself, before we ever touch the jaw or pelvic floor directly.
