An official decree has cast them out of society and forbids them not only from practicing their profession but also from living as they please. As they sail, they arrive at different places and times where they encounter others who, like them, have been expelled from the “realm of the righteous.” But, curiously, these people don’t accept them either… Finally, they find a place where they can live in peace. Because despite the difficulties, there’s always a place for everyone in this world—you just have to look for it!” The show features live music.

Ajagato At 9:30 PM, the Sines Arts Center Auditorium will host the performance “50 Madrugadas” by Companhia da Esquina, organized by the Ajagato Association in partnership with the municipalities of Sines and Santiago do Cacém. On a night of work, a group of journalists attempts to write an article on the theme “Fado and Democracy.” As they revisit notable authors linked to the April 25 Revolution through their works, they inevitably come across the name Ary dos Santos. Directed and written by Jorge Gomes Ribeiro, this performance invites the audience to reflect on memory, freedom, and the power of words.
