Sept. 18 | Friday | 9:30 p.m. Tickets: €5 for members | €8 for non-members Ticket Outlets: Santo André – Manuel José “do Tojal” Municipal Library | Santiago do Cacém – António Chainho Municipal Auditorium Synopsis: In 2001, the first concert of “C’extas de Cultura” emerged from a unique musical collaboration: Zé Manuel Martins (guitar and vocals), Tuniko Goulart (guitar, cavaquinho, and other string instruments), and Patrícia Colaço (vocals) joined forces, combining their talents and emotions to bring the Brisas project to life. That same year, they performed the song “Choro no Fado” for the public, winning second place at the Song Festival. From that special moment came the self-titled album, followed by concerts that brought their sound to various stages. Over the years, each pursued their own artistic path, enriching their careers with individual projects and collaborations with major names in music. But some connections are never lost. More than two decades later, the three artists are reuniting for a special concert, revisiting the songs that brought them together and celebrating the musical journeys each has built over the years. An evening of memories, emotions, and reunions, where the musical influences of Portugal, Brazil, and Africa—which defined Brisas—come to life once again.

    Concert: Veia

🎹 Veia | Saturday, March 21 | 9:30 p.m. 🎤 Veia is a female duo of Portuguese songwriters and musicians, born out of a deep mutual admiration and a desire to unite their visions and let their personal empathy flow into the realm of music. This project has a fundamental and vital component at its core: a tribute to women as a source of inspiration, as well as to their struggles for gender equality and an end to violence in Portugal. With jazz as their starting point, we witness a voice-and-piano performance where they perform original songs of their own composition as well as reinterpret songs by great composers and songwriters. With a warm yet raw sound, focusing on the essentials without major distractions. Just voice and piano, in an intense rhythm.

The 'C'extas de Cultura' return on October 17th! We'll be joined by Aníbal Zola in trio! At 9:30 p.m. in the Mário Primo Auditorium, we're counting on you! Aníbal Zola presents a concert celebrating 10 years of songs. First as Pato Sentido, then as Aníbal, and finally as Aníbal Zola, the pseudonym that has accompanied him since 2020, there have been many journeys in this story that began in 2015. Aníbal Zola has released four albums and a debut ep with the band Pato Sentido, and in this show he will revisit his entire repertoire. Songs such as "Desencontros", "Canção sem letra", "Baiumbadaiumbé" or "Ela foi no seu caminho" will be performed, the latter of which has recently been included in an international film that will be released in 2025 on Apple TV. "Liberdade mentirosa", "Quem tem boca", "Dona Isabel" or "Valsa de três notas só", from the most recent albums, will also be some of the special moments of this concert. On October 17, at the "C"extas de Cultura", the story will be told of a bassist and singer from Porto who has never been bound by musical styles and who combines his sweet voice with sounds from different latitudes in a journey to the past with an eye to the future.
