We are about to begin two weeks of artistic residency (March 9 to 20) with two classes from Monchique's 1st cycle, where we will throw ideas into the air, so that objects, dance, and music imagined together can be born. We are delighted to have @migueldesousacardinho with us, an artist from Caldas da Rainha, who specializes in collecting and inventing, joining @beatriz.marques.dias in dance and @aliceisduarte in music 💛 largada is a show guided by the force of the mountain wind and takes place on March 20, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting point is at the Old Monchique Heliport. Free admission 🍃

After "Strano", by Cirque Trottola, this Friday comes "Hourvari", by @cierasposoofficiel, with performances until January 4th. The title refers to the chaotic moment of a hunt, when the dogs lose track of their prey. This metaphor runs through this visual and acrobatic fable about human fragility, between truth and illusion. Puppets, aerial flights and live music combine tradition and contemporary language in an intense and poetic new circus show. Tickets on sale at www.lavraromar.pt 🤝 "Monchique - New Circus. The new puppet and animated form show by Magnum Soares premieres in Marmelete, Monchique. "Dominó" is born from listening deeply to the village, to the voices that pass through it, to the gestures that persist, to the memories that hold what once was and what could still be. In "Dominó", the real and the imaginary ignite each other, and the community becomes living material for creation. A meeting between generations where each person touches the other, making the dream a collective construction. It will be beautiful to share this moment. 👉 Free admission, subject to capacity and prior registration: info@lavraromar.pt - 913 943 034 🖍 Illustration by Margarida Duarte
