At the next “Criar às Sextas” event, we’ll feature the “Concerto Performance duo alèm,” presented by the Terra Batida Association, which will bring sounds from around the world—characteristic of this traveling duo—to the streets. Blending the harmony of the accordion with the melody of the trumpet, Nuno Salvado and Nuno Reis present music for dancing and dreaming. From African rhythms to Balkan energy, from jazzy reverie to bossa nova tunes, the duo “Além” appeals to a diverse audience.

Whether at a window, on a balcony, or on a terrace, residents, passersby, and visitors will be immediately drawn in by the captivating energy of the music or the sweet, melancholic melody of this virtuoso duo. The performance will culminate at Espaço Criar starting at 6:00 p.m. and combines this musical show with a creative workshop by Mirabolante, Livros e Ideias, and local snacks.

    Sattva Yoga +60

Sattva Yoga Portugal offers classes for seniors at Casa Novo Bowing in Odemira. Based on the ancient Himalayan tradition, Sattva Yoga offers an integrative and holistic approach. In addition to physical postures—with options tailored to each individual’s needs—this practice places great emphasis on Pranayama and Kriyas (breathing exercises and techniques that combine repetitive movements with breathing and mantras). In some classes, time will also be devoted to sound therapy using various musical instruments (Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, flutes, etc.), whose vibrations promote immediate relaxation—both physical and mental. Some classes will be gentler and more meditative, while others will be more energetic, with opportunities for group activities and even dance. Each class is a unique experience. The goal is always the same: to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
